RECAP
The theme for 2024 is 24/7! We started our huddle times by thinking about all the things we can and cannot do all the time. We discussed the need to REFUEL our bodies and our spirits so we can BE READY to show Jesus to others.
REFUEL
Our bodies need fuel like food and rest. That means we also need to refuel so we can keep going. The same is true in walking with the Lord too.
Thankfully, God has given us three things to help us refuel as we walk with Him. We can Refuel with Scripture because learning God’s Word helps us learn about Him.
We can Refuel with Prayer. The only way we can build a strong relationship with God is by talking to Him, and He WANTS us to do so.
We can also Refuel with Community. We need to have people around us to encourage and challenge us and who we can do the same for them.
READY
So now you know how to refuel. What’s next? What is next is to be Ready!
We need to be ready to Go Show our faith to others. That means we ask God to help us to be bold in living our faith in front of the world. That will make God look great.
We need to be ready to Go Share the love and work of Jesus with others. We not just to share with our friends and family and teammates but be ready to Go Share with whomever God brings into our lives.
We also need to be ready to Go Serve. When we serve others with the same love that God showed us by forgiving our sins, we really show others that same love. That will make the Showing and the Sharing even better.
THE FOUR
Last week, we ended with a very important question, and that question must be answered before you can properly refuel and be ready.
We talked of how God created us, and He loves us. We discussed that we have sin, and that sin separates us from God. But He provided a way to save us from our sins by having Jesus rescue us. That left us with this question: Will you trust Jesus?
Remember that it is never too soon to answer that question. If you have not answered that question, answer it soon.
WRAP-UP
Q: What was your favorite part about Team Huddle times? (wait for answers)
Q: What will you do differently? What is God asking you to do? (wait for answers)
I have enjoyed getting to know all of you through this season and through this huddle. As we close our time in prayer, how about someone open us in prayer, and I will close it?
Pray and break the huddle
