Week 10: Recap

The FOUR

This season we learned the importance of four symbols and how they are much deeper than we originally thought. Our Huddle times have led us to learn much more about the heart, the divide sign, the cross, and the question mark.

Leader: Let’s go over them one more time!  What is the first symbol?

Players: The Heart

Leader: What does it mean?

Players: GOD LOVES YOU –

Leader: That’s right! God made you and loves you! His love is boundless and unconditional. God is real, and He wants you to personally experience His love and discover His purpose of your life through a relationship with Him.

Leader: What is the next sign?

Players: The Divide Sign

Leader: What does it mean?

Players: SIN SEPARATES YOU –

Leader: Yes! You cannot experience God’s love when you ignore Him. People don’t trust God and do things their way instead of God’s way. The Bible calls this sin, and everyone has sinned. Sin damages your relationships with other people and with God. The result: you are eternally separated from God and the life He planned for you.

Leader: What comes next?

Players: The Cross

Leader: What does it mean?

Players: JESUS RESCUES YOU –

Leader: That’s great news! Sin does not stop God from loving you. Because of God’s great love, He became a human being in Jesus Christ and gave His life for you. At the cross, Jesus took your place and paid the penalty of death that you deserve for your sins.

Leader: And what is last?

Players: The Question Mark

Leader: What does it mean?

Players: WILL YOU TRUST JESUS? –

Leader: God has already done everything to show you how much He loves you. He offers you fulfilment and eternal life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This involves agreeing that you are sinful, accepting God’s forgiveness, and turning away from your sins and turning towards God. You choose to trust Jesus when you believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and surrender your life to Him.

WRAP-UP

Q: What is one thing you learned in Team Huddle time this season?

Q: What is one way you will live differently because of what you learned?

Remember, if you have not answered the question about trusting Jesus keep talking to God in prayer. He will help you. Find a trusted adult, parent, coach or teammate who loves Jesus and ask some questions. Everyone who loves Jesus would love to help.

(pray and break the Huddle)
