The FOUR Coach’s Devo 10

“But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name.” – John 1:12

We started this season celebrating simplicity. The simplicity of the Gospel sometimes trips us up. We forget that God did all the hard work and took care of the tab too. Nothing like it has ever been done since then. All we have to do is say yes.

I pray that as we walked through the parts of the Gospel this season you were reminded of your own journey with Christ. I pray you were drawn nearer to Him as you remembered how much God loves you. I pray you repented when it became clear how often we chose to walk away from Him.  I pray you renewed your commitment to follow Jesus when reading Scripture about His sacrifice and gift of salvation.

As you end this season, Coach, above all, I pray your heart is aligned with His and that you take steps each day to grow in relationship with Him.

How have Huddle time and devotions helped you this season?

What steps can you take to daily move closer to Jesus?

2 Timothy 3:16-17; Revelation 12:11; Philippians 4:6-7

“Heavenly Father, this season has been one of growth on the court and in my heart. I am grateful for the Gospel. Keep me mindful of its importance in my life. Move my heart closer to Yours every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
