WARM-UP/WORKOUT

Today is our last Huddle of the season. Let’s remember some of the things we have proven this season. Who can name something we proved?
Our key verse for this season was John 15:8, “‘My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples.’”
Those are all good ones and some great memories. Let’s review some of things we learned in Huddle time.
- We have a lot of choices in life. What was the choice we talked about way back in week 2? (show your FOUR bracelet as a hint). That’s right. We have a choice to join Jesus’ team.
- Another thing we get to choose is whether we obey or not. Show me out of 10, how often do you choose to obey your parents? Teachers? Coach? Who should we obey all the time?
- Next we talked about choosing to love our teammates and others. What are two ways we can love others on our team?
- Our last choice that we learned about was choosing to share the Good News about Jesus with others. What tool can we use to do that? (The FOUR)
- Then we moved to proving our commitment. What do you have to do when you commit to a team? How can we show we are committed to Jesus’ team?
- We found out that there is an opposing team that doesn’t want us to succeed and can actually be pretty mean to those who are on Team Jesus. What should we focus on? (our team – Team Jesus and our teammates)
- Last we found out that Team Jesus has the best coach in the Holy Spirit. Even better, the Holy Spirit lives in us when we join Jesus’ team.
WRAP-UP
We have learned a lot and grown a lot as a team this season. I am so glad we got to be teammates.
Let’s pray!
“Lord, we have learned so much this season about our sport and about You. We are grateful for the time we had together. Help us stay committed to You through reading our Bible and praying. Help us to be good teammates and produce much fruit. Most of all, we want to be proven as Your disciples. We love You! In Jesus’ name, amen.”
