Zig Zag

SET UP

Set up a series of cones in a zig-zag pattern. Mirror the pattern a few yards away for the return trip back to the starting line.

MOVEMENT

The drill begins when the first player runs full speed at an angle towards the second cone & makes the cut towards the third cone. Players will run this zig-zag pattern up and down the course.

KEY FOCUS POINTS

  • Players should run this full speed.
  • Crisp and quick cuts.
  • Don’t reach with their feet. This leads to slipping and slows down the player.
  • Players can also put a quick head and shoulders juke at each cut.
