Set Up: Two lines of cones setup in a zig-zap pattern moving up the court. There should be several yards in between each cone. Players will line up on opposite sides of cones. Lines should be as even as possible.
Movement: Players take turns dribbling toward a cone, stopping forward momentum, taking two retreat steps, crossing over, then dribbling forward to the next cone. This will repeat as they move up the court. This drill should be run at full speed.
Key Focus Point: Players have good control of the dribble through the entire drill. Never stop dribbling. After players retreat dribble, they should crossover in front of their bodies and move toward the next cone.
