Setup- You will need a tee and a batting cage or hitting net.
Movement- The hitter will start in a widened stance, creating a strong base and getting deep in their legs. However, in addition to the widened stance, the hitter will stagger their legs. The back leg will be toward the back corner of the batter’s box, farthest away from the plate. The front leg will be in the front corner of the batter’s box, closest to the plate. Then, without striding, the hitter will take a full swing.
Key Focus Points- Similar to the Sammy Sosa the ball should be placed on the tee so that both seams are facing the hitter. The hitter should focus on rotating while staying inside the baseball. The goal is to hit the inside seam, closest to them.
