Setup- You will need a tee and a batting cage or hitting net.
Movement- The hitter will cross his front leg over his back leg to get himself in the proper starting position. The hitter will have his back foot firmly planted in the ground and his front foot up on the toe (this is the leg that is crossed over). Then the hitter will load into his back leg and stride, taking a full swing.
Key Focus Points- The point of this drill is to create rhythm and depth in the hitter’s swing.
