Stop and Go

Set Up: Two or three lines of cones.  Players will line up on opposite sides of cones.  Lines should be as even as possible.

Movement: Players with the ball will dribble forward.  When coach blows the whistle, players will stop walking forward but will keep their dribble.  On the next whistle, players will resume walking while dribbling.  This continues until they reach the endline where they pass to their teammate.

Key Focus Point: Keeping dribble.  Never stop dribbling during this drill.  Encourage players to switch dribble hand each round.  Start with a walk.  Increase speed to ¾ over time.
