Speed Dribble – Ending with Jump Stop

Set Up: Two or three lines of cones.  Players will line up on opposite sides of cones.  Lines should be as even as possible.

Movement: Players take turns dribbling from one end of the cones to the other with a speed dribble.  As players near their teammate, they should perform a jump stop, then a pass.

Key Focus Point: Players should push the ball out in front of them as they dribble.   As they perform a jump stop, players should focus on landing on two feet at the same time and not letting their momentum move them forward.  Once they’re controlled, they can pass the ball.
