Set up: 4 Players stand on the perimeter (one in each corner, and one on each wing). 4 defensive players line up on the endline where the paint stops.
Movement: Coach will blow the whistle and players on endline will close out to a player on the perimeter. As soon as players close out they will begin to box out. Once players begin their box out coach will shoot the basketball. Players on the perimeter can go to retrieve the ball as soon as it hits the rim. Players boxing out must allow ball to hit the floor before they release box outs. Coach can also allow players to go get rebound as soon as ball is shot but must allow initial box out action to begin taking place.
Key Focus Points: Contact with offensive player, turn and seal, back up to maintain contact throughout box out.
