Set up: Five players spread out across floor (see diagram). One basketball is needed.
Movement: Ball starts under the basket with player 1. He passes to player 2 and sprints as he follows the pass to replace player 2’s spot when he passes. Player 2 will pass and replace to player 3. 3 to 4, 4 to 5, and finally, 5 to 1. This pattern will continue for several rounds. The direction can also be reversed. Starting spots can be in closer to start and widening as players become more efficient with passing as the season progresses.
Key Focus Points: Passing accuracy and strength. Sprinting to the spots, not letting the ball stick (keep it moving quickly).
