Figure 8 Dribbling – 5, 3, 1

Set Up: Players will need a basketball in hand for this individual drill.  Players without a basketball should line up behind those players with a basketball.  Coach should be in front monitoring this drill.

Movement: Starting with 5 dribbles, players will dribble the ball around one leg, then crossover between the legs to the other hand and dribble 5 times around that leg before crossing over again back to the original hand.  This will continue for several rounds.  Then, move to 3 dribbles prior to crossing over.  Finally ending with 1 dribble.    

Key Focus Point: Controlling the ball with one hand as players dribble around their leg.  Keep head up.  Good stance.
