Set Up:
Players will divide evenly into two teams and bunt balls with their bat to score points for their perspective team.
Coaches will draw lines in the dirt to indicate point zones 3 points, 2 points, 1 point. All foul balls and balls out of the zones receive 0 points. Coach will demonstrate good bunting form prior to the start of the game.
Movement:
Players from each team will take turns at the plate and will be able to bunt 3 balls each in an attempt to place balls in the points awarded zones. Coaches will pitch balls to each player. To increase difficulty divide the zones in half and have the coach designate 1st base or 3rd base zones only for points.
Key Focus Points:
Ensure players bend at the waist and get the bat out in front of their stance.
