Setup- You will need three cones for this drill.
Movement- The fielder will start with a ball in his glove. At the first cone he will get into his pre-pitch routine. At the second cone, he will pretend to field the ball and at the third cone he will gather and throw to the coach standing in front of him.
Key Focus Points- The focus is to get the fielder’s feet moving in the right direction and for the head and chest to be facing the target when they throw the ball.
